Accompanied children (4 years +), Novices with no navigation experience (ramblers, runners, outdoor enthusiasts etc). Buggies: parents with buggies should justabout manage the short course, but it’s mostly on grass with a few forays into the woods, so it won’t be easy.
You don’t have to pre-enter or have any special equipment. If you haven’t been orienteering before read the IOA FAQ on http://www.orienteering.ie/frequently-asked-questions.
If you have never orienteered or navigated before you are very welcome – just ask for some advice and guidance from any of the event officials and we will be happy to help.
